
Dr. Linden received his education first at Williams College in Massachusetts and then received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He is completed his residency in general surgery and his fellowship in Cardiothoracic surgery at the BWH. Dr. Linden's clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, esophageal disease and lung cancer. He spent two years as the D. Garrett Smith Fellow in angiogenesis research in the laboratory of Dr. Judah Folkman at Harvard Medical School. His research interests include the study of angiogenesis and cancer, and use of angiogenesis inhibitors in the treatment of cancer. He is currently an instructor in Surgery at Harvard Medical School.
