The Division of Thoracic Surgery of the Brigham and Women's Hospital offers comprehensive care to all patients of the Thoracic Surgery Service.
In addition to surgical and professional nursing care, you may receive some or all of the following supportive services: Pulmonary Medicine, Anesthesia, Chest Physiotherapy, Cardiology, Nutrition Support, Social Work Services, Continuing Care, and Chaplaincy.
The plan for your care begins with your first visit to the Division of Thoracic Surgery and continues throughout your hospital stay, discharge, and beyond, including follow-up visits in the clinic.
We strongly believe that patients--you, your family, and your friends--are an integral part of the Health Care Team. We welcome your participation and support.
